Field of application

Safety-Floor Cleanmatrail is a high-quality dirt trap for rail vehicles with a special backing (anti-slip or magnetic). This ensures that it can be permanently removed and relaid. Due to the synthetic textile backing, the covering is flame retardant. This results in a rating of fire protection class HL2 according to DIN EN 45545-2. In addition, the floor covering is compatible with the common walkway and transition profiles from our range.

The magnetic version of Safety-Floor Cleanmatrail is laid on the floor after an appropriate countercoat has been applied. The carpet then adheres to this. This means that it can be laid safely and without any tripping hazards and can also be removed quickly by pulling it off again. The version with anti-slip backing works in a similar way, but without counterpainting. The carpet is laid normally without treating the floor beforehand. It still lies securely and does not become wavy because it cannot slip due to the special backing.

The magnetic system has been successfully used in the double-decker carriages for the Zurich S-Bahn and for Deutsche Bahn.
