Anti-slip profiles

Many falls occur in the area of stairs. To prevent these accidents, high-contrast and slip-resistant marking of the beginning, course and end of the stairs can help. As a result it increases the visibility of stairs enormously. This makes it easier for people with impaired vision to use the stairs. Consequently, the high-contrast marking of risers and treads is part of the requirements of DIN 18040-1: “Barrier-free construction in public facilities”.

Our Safety – Stair anti-slip profiles offer you both a quick and simple solution for meeting these requirements. This is because they enable the retrofitting of stairs as well as stairways and landings. The profiles are either equipped with holes for screwing or with a pressure-sensitive adhesive. This means they can be applied to almost all surfaces and edges, and individually tailored to your application.
