Dirt traps and carpets for rail vehicles

Trains and trams are means of transport that most people use every day, for example to get to work or school. This creates a lot of dirt, which in turn can be responsible for slipping hazards and accidents.

It is therefore necessary to find safety or dirt trap surfaces for the rail vehicle market that can withstand a particularly high number of footfalls every day. In addition, they are characterised by excellent water absorption, without soaking through. This is particularly important in heavy snowfall and rain, when they are often walked on with wet shoes. In order to facilitate application and to ensure the longest possible product life cycle, the coverings used are particularly easy to clean, replace and install.

In combination with the WA-446 adhesive fleece, the dirt trap covering can be walked on immediately after installation. The removal of the covering is residue-free, which results in significant cost advantages compared to the wet bonding method.
