The marking of stair edges quickly achieves a high gain in safety. The DIN 18040 standard gives advice on how to implement this correctly. By making the beginning and course of the stairs more recognisable, the number of accidents due to falling can be significantly reduced. Thus, marking is especially helpful for people with impaired vision.

The step profiles are made of angled aluminium into which an insert is glued that is both hard-wearing and non-slip. This insert is weather-resistant and thus qualifies the profile for outdoor use. The high R13 slip resistance also makes it very robust, making it suitable for areas with high demands.
