This year’s final of the deaf football championships for youth teams on large fields between GSF Wuppertal-Dönberg and Hamburger GSV was held on 22. June. 2019 on the football field of Sportfreunde Dönberg. In sunny weather, about 150 spectators, including the DGS Vice President for Public Relations and goalkeeper coach of the national deaf football team Dirk Zimmermann, attended the final. Despite an initially even match, the GSF team was able to achieve a commanding victory of 8-1 in the end. As sponsor of Sportfreunde Dönberg, we would like to congratulate them on this and hope that this great result will secure the start of an equally successful 2019/2020 season.
