Field of application

For all textured, angled or otherwise uneven surfaces as well as surfaces that are prone to slipping. This can be used, for example, to equip checker or tear plates on steps and machines, steel ladders and stairs as well as standing areas and stairways.

The 3M™ Safety-Walk™ Conformable anti-slip covering adapts to any unevenness with the appropriate pressure thanks to the soft aluminium backing film. Furthermore, the covering consists of an anti-slip mineral grain embedded in a tough, durable polymer. The back consists of a rubber-based adhesive, which in turn is protected by a liner. This means that the adhesive does not lose its adhesive strength even in the event of severe temperature fluctuations.

Safety-Walk™ Conformable as black version has class HL1 fire properties. The yellow color variant of the product even achieves the HL2 rating. The surface of the anti-slip covering also offers the highest slip resistance R13.
