The product Safety-Floor Standard Coarse P40 has been part of the product range at SFS for many years. Until now, however, it was only available in the colors yellow or black. This is now changing!
Our transparent version of the P40 not only adds further design possibilities due to the new color. The new product also expands the application possibilities of Safety-Floor Standard Coarse. This is primarily due to the fire properties. While the yellow and black versions only receive the rating HL2 in the test according to DIN EN 45545-2 in the requirement set R10, the transparent flooring achieves HL3. It is thus assigned to the highest rating level of this standard.
But what are these new fields of application for Standard Coarse P40? There are certain applications of an anti-slip covering that only require the rating with the highest fire class, as the hazard potential for a weaker fire behavior would be too great. These include, above all, rail vehicle applications in tunnel operation, such as subways.
