GRP step profiles from SFS!
SFS has recently been able to present a newcomer to its product range: glass fiber reinforced step profiles.These are made of polyester, the eponymous glass fiber reinforcement and an overlying aluminum grain. The new profiles impress with their extremely high robustness combined with low weight. They are designed for outdoor applications and retain their anti-slip properties even under extreme conditions, such as in offshore areas or in heavy snowfall or frost.
In relation to its weight, GRP is up to seven times stronger than structural steel. At the same time, its flexural strength can be adjusted by adding fabric reinforcement.
SFS can therefore supply a product that guarantees the long-term safety of stair treads even under the most difficult conditions.
